11 tips for solving pump problems

Fault 1, start the pump does not turn

Reason: packing is too tight or clogged with debris between the impeller and the pump body; pump shaft, bearings, leak ring rust live; serious axis pump.

Remedy: Loose packing, clear the diversion channel: open the pump body to remove debris or rust; to correct the curved shaft or a new pump shaft.

Fault 2, the pump does not start after the water

Reason: pump air or gas intake manifold; the bottom valve is not strict irrigation water is not satisfied, a serious vacuum pump packing leaks; gate valve or beat the door closed lax. Remedy: remove debris, replace the damaged rubber mat, change the direction of the valve; press or replace the new packing, close the gate valve or the door; increase the amount of irrigation until the deflation plug does not bubble; replace with Cracked tube water; reduce head, the pump nozzle pressed into the water 0.5 meters.

Fault 3, traffic from big to small

Reason: the filter or the bell is gradually blocked by debris; dynamic water level decreases, the water inlet submerged depth of water is not enough.

Remedy: Remove debris, increase the depth of the bottom valve into the water.

Fault 4, lack of traffic

Reason: The actual head of the pump exceeds the allowable head; speed does not match or belt slippage, low speed; axial pump blade mounting angle is too small; suction stroke is too high; end valve, pipeline and impeller partial plug or impeller defect; serious.

Remedy: Reduce the lift, restore the rated speed, remove the belt dirt and adjust the belt tightness; adjust the blade angle, reduce the pump installation position; tighten the gland, seal the pump leakage, compression packing or replacement packing; clear the blockage, Replace the impeller; replace the leak ring, plug the leak.

Fault 5, the operation of water outage

No water or intermittent broken water, less water.

① motor is not started, eliminate circuit failure;

② pipeline blockage, remove blockage;

③ pipeline rupture, repair welding or for praise;

④ filter plugged, remove clogs;

⑤ water inlet exposed water, if the next discharge pump is still invalid, it is recommended to change the pump;

⑥ electric pump reversal, replace the power line phase sequence;

⑦ pump housing seal ring, impeller damage, replacement of new parts.

Fault 6, the motor can not start, accompanied by buzzing
